# Quickstart

## Setting up

* Install Docker Engine and Docker Compose v2.24.0 or later
* Clone the repository: `git clone https://github.com/trytrench/trench.git && cd trench`
* Run Trench: `docker-compose up`

## Environment variables

Create a `.env` file in the root of the project with the following content:

```env
ADMIN_USERNAME=admin
ADMIN_PASSWORD=admin
JWT_SECRET=jwt_secret
NEXTAUTH_URL=http://localhost:3000
CLIENT_KEY=client_key
API_KEY=api_key
```
